Dose Adult
Administered only in combination. Typical dose with piperacillin: Piperacillin/Tazobactam 4.5 g IV every 6–8 hours (contains 500 mg tazobactam).
Dose Paeds
80–100 mg/kg (piperacillin component) every 6–8 hours IV according to indication; dosing based on the combination product.
