| Drug Indication | Serious infections (septicaemia, nosocomial pneumonia, aerobic and anaerobic gynaecological infections, skin and soft tissue infections. Complicated UTI. Prophylaxis in intra-abdominal surgery. |
| Precautions | Sufficient therapy to eliminate streptococcal infections. Serious and occasionally fatal immediate hypersensitivity reactions may occur. False-positive urinary glucose (if tested for reducing substances). |
