Drug Indication Bacterial septicaemia, RTI, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, infections of female pelvis and GU, complicated UTI, severe infections due to pseudomonas, proteus and E.coli.
Precautions Hypersensitivity reactions to penicillin and / or cephalosporins, parenteral solutions should not be injected into or near an artery or nerve.

Special Information A combination of carboxypenicillin active against pseudomonas and other gram negative bacteria and a beta-lactamase (clavulonate) inhibitor. carboxypenicillin interferes with the synthesis of peptidoglycans, which are part of bacterial cell wall (bactericidal).
