Dosage ; 0.5-1mcg/kg/min as IV inf.
Maintenance: 0.5-1mcg/kg/min as IV bolus given 2-5 minutes
or 0.05-2 mcg/kg/min given at an interval of 2-5 minutes.
Spontaneous ventilation: 0.04mcg/kg/min IV infusion initially
then stabilized at 0.025-0.1 mcg/kg/min.
